CEREMONY & RECEPTION Exclusive use, private space with your most special people. Let us tailor a once in a lifetime experience for you and your guests. Sliding doors disappear to connect inside and outside spaces seamlessly and to provide options for all weather. The covered terrace comfortably seats 60 - 80 guests overlooking the pool and exquisite views below. Dance into the night under the stars. Maximum event size 100 guests. ACCOMMODATION Alkira Lodge has 6 bedrooms (sleeps 12) and an additional 3 bedrooms at Shufflers Cottage (sleeps 6) providing accommodation for up to 18 guests on the conservancy. Additional accommodation is available within walking distance or a 3 minute drive away in the seaside town of Brenton on Sea. Add additional nights to spend time with your friends and family, to relax with spa treatments, or to explore the highlights of the Garden Route. CATERING We have carefully curated a list of our favorite local chefs and caterers who are delighted to collaborate with our wedding couples to create the perfect menu. MAKING YOUR WEDDING EASY Our knowledgeable and experienced events team are available to assist you make your ideas a reality and we have contacts with all the best vendors and service providers on the Garden Route to recommend to you. We look forward to putting our creativity to work for you. We are a 45 minute drive from George and Plettenberg Bay Airports. The town centre of Knysna is a 15 minute drive away for easy access to local activities. PRICING For more than 20 people The cost of a wedding is a minimum 2 nights of accommodation charged at the current accommodation rate for exclusive use of Alkira Lodge (sleeps 12). There is the option to add additional accommodation at Shufflers Villa (sleeps 6) at the current rate. This rate is inclusive of brunch platters for the bridal parties while they prepare for the wedding. It is also inclusive of breakfast the morning after. Additional: Event fee of R55 000 for up to 80 people. Refundable Security Deposit to the value of one night of accommodation. All other costs are in addition. For an Elopement For an Elopement at Alkira Lodge of up to 12 people or, add Shufflers, for up to18 guests: A minimum of 1 Night of accommodation is charged at the current rate for the exclusive use of Alkira Lodge and Shufflers Villa. Check in is from 2pm and check out at 11am the next morning following breakfast. If you wish to get ready at the property then a minimum 2 night booking is required. There is no event fee. There is a Refundable Security Deposit to the value of a maximum of 1 night stay. If you choose to use Alkira's beautiful tables and chairs for your ceremony and celebration, then all that you need to plan in addition is any special event design and decor and to select your preferred vendors (photography, music, additional hiring, flowers and tabledecor and catering).
