‘Alkira’ (meaning: SKY): floating at the feet of the heavens, surrounded by the ever-changing canvas of the Southern African sky. A place where guests can feel comfortable and feel good. A space to be uplifted, intrigued and calm. Places and spaces to be together with friends or to linger quietly.
Alkira Lodge is situated in a private nature conservancy, above the popular tourist town of Knysna. The fynbos is home to abundant bird-life, shy antelope, endangered butterflies and guests can stroll, hike or bike on the reserve or visit the magnificent beaches below Alkira.
From Alkira Lodge guests have a birds eye view of all that makes the Garden Route unique, and the activities, shops and restaurants of Knysna are an easily accessible 15 minute drive away.
