Views, privacy, thoughtful architecture and design, flexible catering options and the talented event management, make Alkira Lodge on South Africa’s Garden Route the ideal venue for functions for 6 to 100 guests.

For events where accommodation is required on site Alkira Lodge and Shufflers Villa together can sleep 18 guests. There is additional offsite accommodation close by.

For those who do not need accommodation, the team at Alkira will happily discuss your needs and, if possible, they will craft an event to suit your occasion.

Accommodation for all Alkira is a private nature conservancy on the western side of the iconic 'Heads' of the pretty tourist town Knysna. Situated above the hustle and bustle yet just a few minutes away from the town centre for easy access to additional services and activities. Guests have exclusive use of two properties on the Alkira fynbos nature conservancy; Alkira Lodge has 6 bedrooms with possibility for king and twin single beds and space for up to 13 family members and friends. Shufflers Villa @ Alkira accommodates six guests in private and relaxed luxury. A number of other villas within a 5 minute drive can be booked through Alkira for additional guest accommodation. An exclusive experience The flexible spaces and facilities of Alkira Lodge include inside and outside lounge and dining areas, sun decks, terraces, garden area, cosy fireplaces, braai areas, a pizza oven, wine cellar, and a bar. Breakfast is included in the Alkira rates and the team at Alkira can cater in addition for celebration events and all meals throughout the entire stay, or guests can choose self catering and absolute privacy with a small, discrete onsite team.
