Alkira Celebrates Music

Alkira Lodge situated in breathtaking beauty above the pretty town of Knysna, hosts artists and guests for an intimate residency where music, conversation, friendship, fine hospitality and the breathtaking scenery of South Africa’s Garden Route, come together in perfect harmony.

Alkira hosts music residencies or ‘salons’ where musicians live in house at Alkira with Alkira guests:

• Music Loving Guests have the incredibly special opportunity to spend relaxed time with their favorite artists off the stage and to explore behind the scenes participating in the musical process as artists explore new material and rehearse and prepare for the concerts hosted during the residency.
• Artists have the opportunity to take a break from their busy schedules and to enjoy the luxury accommodation and delicious food and wine included in the residency.

Alkira has a Feurich grand piano and occasionally hosts public concerts with acclaimed local and international musicians for audiences up to 60 guests.
