Week of Wellness

Coontact us to design your perfect Wellness getaway at Alkira Lodge. From 2 nights to 2 weeks we are delighted delighted to work with you to tailor make a program that ensures your specific needs are met. Join us for a celebration of all that is good, gather new life tools and reinforce positive practices, or simply rest and rejuvenate in this beautiful place! We can add or subtract and change and have numerous wonderful teachers and professionals to choose from to suit your mood and needs. Below is an example of a 5 day Week of Wellness hosted at Alkira Lodge alongside Nutrilicious Kitchen and Dr Geraldine Robson-Parsons and an introduction to some of the other wonderful professionals that we work alongside. Dine on delicious plant-based foods prepared with love by our lodge chefs, enjoy a seasonal detox practice, create some internal fire, sleep a little deeper, rest a little more, explore and support the body's ability to maintain health. R24 750 per person sharing R30 750 single rate per room * Prices are for minimum 8 people and are adjustable according to your program and inclusions.


  • Five nights in luxurious accommodation
  • Three meals a day (as well as snacks) all prepared by highly trained chefs. The opportunity to be involved in the kitchen at times exists for interested participants.

SAMPLE PROGRAM DAY 1: 2pm - Late lunch and introductions 3pm - Check in and relax. Some guests commence sessions with specialist Doctor/Nutritionist 5pm - Yoga/meditation 7pm - Dinner DAYS 2-5: 7am - Yoga 9am - Breakfast 10am - Individual sessions for some guests with specialist Doctor/Nutritionist 12 to 1pm One per day: - Food preparation with Nutritionist/chef (3 hours) - Elemental walk - Moving into Connection. Movement Meditation. - Panel session - Western Head Fynbos to Sea walk 1pm - Lunch 2pm - Unscheduled time 5pm - Yoga/meditation 7pm - Dinner DAY 6: 8am - Breakfast 9 to 10am - Panel discussion/take-homes 10am - Meditation 11am - Check out ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES: Guests can book private wellness therapies during unscheduled time. Guests who wish to participate in the kitchen are welcome to arrange to do so with the chefs. Walking/guided walking/beach walking. Pool and jacuzzi lazing.

The Team

Dr Geraldine Robson-Parsons

Dr Geraldine Robson-Parsons is an AHPCSA-registered homoeopathic doctor with a post-graduate certification in Personalised Nutrition from the University of Middlesex (UK) and a Diploma in Culinary Arts from the Francois Ferreira Academy (SA). She runs a private practice, marrying the clinical aspect of complementary medicine and nutrition with a practical education in the kitchen. She is the author of a published nutrition and recipe book called ‘The Nutrilicious Kitchen. The Heart & Art of Nutrition’, in which she offers sensible health advice and nutritious recipe inspiration.

Petra Bongartz

Petra guides people into reconnection with themselves, each other and life through movement, creative enquiry and embodiment practices. Her work supports participants to uncover the vitality, wisdom, creativity and resources that live in their own being. Petra is passionate about empowering people to discover who they are and what unique part they can play in creating a better world for all.

Nicki Friedlein

Yoga practices can optimise our physical environment and reveal a glowing state of calm vitality. It offers us the opportunity to open our hearts to joy, express ourselves creatively, find our own natural rhythm. Heidi Burgesmeir

Heidi is an internationally qualified Professional Skin, Reflexologist and Massage Therapist with 25 years of experience in the industry. Her treatments aid in relaxation and revitalizing the body. More information on her treatments can be found on her website.
