Plus with Brenton beach being so close a lovely beach walk is also an option. A wonderfully active weekend exploring Knysna with plenty of time spent recovering in the sun loungers overlooking the Knysna lagoon. And watching the sunset in the jacuzzi too of course (a must do - so idyllic). Can definitely recommend Alkira Lodge!

The swimming pool deck and jacuzzi are overlooking the entire town of Knysna and the sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. The attention to detail makes the lodge a self catering paradise. The bedrooms are exceptional, comfortable beds and even outdoor showers. We even stayed an extra night because it was so hard too leave. A great place to relax and unwind with your family, group of friends or just a romantic getaway. If you are looking for someplace really special, this is it.

It feels more like visiting close friends than staying in a guest lodge. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful and they were very accommodating with me being a vegetarian.
